5-Day Email Course – Let’s Get Started

Welcome back,

In this first lesson I will guide you through the basics of becoming an online entrepreneur. You are already one step closer to financial success.

It is very important to take action when starting a business. Building an online business is much easier and less expensive than building an ordinary brick and mortar business.

Keep Things Easy

You also don’t need to worry about where to build your business, and you can profit from having billions of people accessing the internet, that can be seen as potential customers.

Setting up a website is not hard as you will soon find out. There are several ways you can earn money from your website. An easy and proven model is affiliate marketing.

What Is Affiliate Marketing?

Affiliate marketing is about selling products from other people, and getting paid a commission for making sales. You can read all about affiliate marketing on the website.

Almost all big companies have affiliate programs, such as Amazon, Walmart, Target, Shopify, Zappos, and AliBaba. You can earn money with their affiliate program, promoting their products.

The point here is not to sell but to help people: It’s about building trust with your visitors. If they trust you, they are more likely to buy from you. That is what affiliate marketing is about.

There are more ways to earn money online then only affiliate marketing, but affiliate marketing is the easiest, and most likely fastest way to get started. And without having to create a product of your own.

On top of that, you can do it all from the comfort of your home. You can read more about working from home here.

Low Start Up Costs

With an online business your start up costs are low and your customer potential is virtually unlimited, and thus you are much more likely to succeed online – if you don’t quit!

A domain name should not cost you much more than $10 a year, and another $100 for hosting for a whole year, and maybe a few hundred more for training, but that is all you’re looking at.

When you become a member with Wealthy Affiliate, a domain name will cost you $13,99 including free web hosting. Compare that with a brick and mortar business that could cost you $50.000, just to get started.

No Technical Experience Needed

You don’t need to be a web designer or a programmer in order to succeed. You do need a good base to get started. This is important when starting out and I will introduce you to the best online education training.

Create Your Free Account

If you haven’t already, I want you to create your free account at Wealthy Affiliate. They have the best affiliate marketing training where many people succeed.

At this moment they already have more than 2.000.000 members. And the number of members keeps increasing every year, month, week and even every day.

It’s absolutely free and NO credit card is needed to sign up. You also can keep your free account as long as you wish because it’s not a free trial, it’s a Free Starter Membership.

When you fill out your profile, put an image on it and a short description. This will make it easier to get help in the community in case you ever need help.

People are more likely to help others when they have a picture and some text on their profile. The support from members is something you won’t easily find somewhere else.

This was all you had to do for day one. Have a look around at Wealthy Affiliate because there is a lot of information, and you want to get familiar with their website.

You are going to use several times in the next few days. Take care and stay tuned for day 2, that will soon arrive in your mailbox. If you have any questions, use the contact form below and I will get back to you.

THIRD EMAIL (day 2 – page: 5-Day Email Course – Finding A Niche Market)

5-Day Email Course – Finding A Niche Market

    Hey,

Before you can start your internet business, you need to know what your niche will be. Let me give you the definition of a niche. A niche is a smaller part of a bigger market, here are a few examples to explain it.

Golf is not a niche, but golf sticks, golf swing, golf shoes, are all niches. Another example; a dog is not a niche, because it is too broad, but dog training and dog toys are niches.

    Narrowing Down A Niche

Dog training can be turned into smaller niches, like Bulldog training, dog obedience training, or puppy dog training, just a name a few. You can build a website around any of these niches!

You need to find a particular audience when you write to them, so you can really connect and speak with them as effectively as possible.

This will lead to more trust, interest and ultimately more conversions, your goal when creating an internet business.

Also, by narrowing your niche down, it will be easier to get rankings in Google. You should not under-estimate the traffic potential and sales when you get ranked on the first page of Google.

If you keep following the steps and training, it is not as hard as you think. It will become easier when you decide to go for another niche.

Tips To Decide What Niche To Choose

This could be one of the biggest parts to figure out. You can learn from my mistakes, because I will help you to figure out what niche you should get yourself into.

You can also read the page how to find a profitable niche market. There are many tips how to chose a niche that will be profitable.

If you have a look at the niche marketing guide, you will know where to look for niches. There are many online places that can give you good ideas for a niche.

    1. Look For Something You Have An Interest in

If you do what you love to do, you’ll never have to work a day in your life. This definitely applies to creating an online business.

The less you feel like you’re “working” the easier it will be and the more likely you are to be successful.

If you choose a niche you are not interested in, you will have a difficult time to turn it into a profitable niche. So you need to choose something you are interested in, like a hobby or a passion.

Write down what you could use as a niche, and narrow it down. You should end up with a niche where you want to get into.

    2. Think Who Your Target Market Is

Before you start thinking what products to promote, you’ll need to know who you will be marketing to.

You have to think who your audience is, what their needs are, and what information they are looking for that would be beneficial for them.

If you don’t focus on it, you may find it very hard to write for a particular audience. That is why it’s important to narrow down your niche.

    3. Don’t Think Too Long About Your Niche

You can take some time to think about a niche, but don’t overdo it. A day, or at the most two days, is more than enough. It does not have to be perfect because you can always change it later.

The point is to get into the training process and setting up a website (more on this in the next lesson).

Many people will have a niche before they find the one that really fits them. This is a perfectly normal process.

If you have to start over, finding another niche, you will find out that the whole process will be much easier than the first time.

In short, here it is what you need to do:
